WPP Revises, M&W Issues First Global Ad Forecast

WPP Media this morning revised its 2026 global growth outlook up 1.8 points to +9.7%, and independent consultancy Madison and Wall issued its first ever global forecast (+9.4%).

The new estimates, on top of WARC's aggressive +11.5% update late last week, boost MediaPost's industry forecast composite of 1.2 points to +8.9% for this year.

Based on newly released estimates for 2027 (see above), the consensus for next year is a 5.7% expansion in an off-cycle year.
